Beautiful 10-inch hand pointed vintage Quimper pottery plate, signed on the back with unique factory marks. The front has three beautiful sailboats with bands of yellow and blue around the plate border. Signed by artist C. Noel, and numbered on the back with the form and decor numbers: F176.D ES6A, HM. It is unclear when this plate was painted, perhaps between 1968 and 1983 when the form and decor numbers were used? Or, it could be after 1984 when this factory mark was used (although the HB looks different on this plate?) There are normal variations in the plate (see photos), and due to being hand-painted, every plate is unique. In great condition- no chips. Sells new for $135 with different factory marks. Gorgeous and unique!
